A: Coweta County’s Dial A Ride (5311) program provides transit services to business, commercial and activity centers in Coweta County. Schedule a trip by calling 770-683-RIDE (7433) by noon for next-day service, dependent upon availability.
Trips are $3 per one-way trip, must be within Coweta County and are generally scheduled between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The Coweta County Transit shuttle van will come to any Coweta address to pick up or drop off.
The City of Newnan also offers a trolley shuttle from Ashley Park to downtown Newnan Friday through Sunday.

A: Visitors should certainly make time to tour the six historic districts in Newnan, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, kayak down the river in Chattahoochee Bend State Park or shop till you drop along Main Street in Senoia. Grab some homemade ice cream or one of our famous doughnuts while you wander through our beautiful county.

A: TONS! Hollywood has been coming to Coweta County for decades. Productions such as The Walking Dead, Sweet Home Alabama, Hunger Games, Footloose, Fried Green Tomatoes, Driving Miss Daisy, Zombieland and The Founder have all been shot in the county. Film tours are offered in Senoia and you can also customize a private tour if there are specific locations you would like to see.
A: We have seven communities in the county — Grantville, Haralson, Moreland, Newnan, Senoia, Sharpsburg and Turin — and several unincorporated areas as well as towns/cities that are located in both Coweta and bordering counties.
