Experts on what’s available now and what’s on the horizon for myriad cancers, the clinicians in the centers work closely together to quickly and efficiently reach a diagnosis and then recommend an individualized care plan, so patients can make educated decisions about their treatment. Knowing that fighting cancer is only part of the battle, a care team may also suggest various evidence-supported care services to help manage the side effects of cancer and its treatment. Each patient’s team includes a care manager who coordinates care, helps handle the details and responds to questions as they arise.
