WowSno

Where: Newnan & Summer Grove

Breaking news: there’s snow in Georgia!

Wow Sno is putting the slush in summer. With dozens of flavors, including your favorite classics to custom concoctions, you’ll want to return again and again to try something new.

Looking for something chilling and thrilling? We recommend their signature creation, the Zombie Virus. But be forewarned: this one is not for the faint of heart. Its electrifying blend of flavors will have you feeling like you’re outrunning the undead in no time.

Rock Salt Milk Bar

Where: Newnan

I scream, you scream, we all scream for…Rock Salt!

Stocked with dairy and non-dairy ice cream, ooey-gooey brownies, cookies and cakes, Rock Salt Milk Bar will be the cherry on top of even the sweetest day. But it’s not just the countless options that set them apart, it’s what they put into it that counts.

Their team uses only the finest organic and natural ingredients, including fresh fruit and grass-fed milk and cream. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, you’ll always find something new to enjoy.

Stunned by the possibilities? We recommend the Pecan Brittle and Salt cone for an irresistibly sweet and salty scoop of heaven.

Main Street Fudge

Where: Senoia

Sink your teeth into some seriously irresistible fudge. With a menu that boasts an astonishing 21 flavors, Main Street Fudge knows what the fudge is up. Save room for a scoop of hand-dipped Mayfield ice cream, served in a cup or atop a slice of fried pie.

After all, there are 12 kinds of ice cream to choose from! Not to mention cupcakes, milkshakes, turtles, pralines and cookies…

Main Street is an easy choice, but they sure make it hard to choose just one! In a rush? The chocolate chip cookie sandwich is a favorite for those on the go.

Beez Freeze

Where: Senoia

Shaved ice, ice, baby!

Beez Freeze brings New Orleans-style shaved ice to our very own backyard. Their heaping helpings of frosty ice are topped with your choice of syrup for a perfect retreat from the heat. But shaved ice is just the start! Indulge in their mouth-watering selection of generously topped ice creams, milkshakes and sundaes.

Our favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake sundae, an indulgent blend of fresh strawberries, velvety ice cream and pound cake, topped with a whole lot of whipped cream.

Lisa's Creperie & Cafe

Where: Senoia

Nestled in the heart of Senoia, Lisa’s Crêperie & Cafe has captured Parisian culture and serves it wrapped in a delicately fluffy pancake. Try out classic combos like strawberries and cream or savory sensations like ham and cheese. Their menu updates daily and uses only the freshest ingredients from local produce, including herbs right from Lisa’s garden!

We can’t get enough of Nutella and Banana, a sweet treat drizzled with decadent chocolate. No matter your flavor, there’s a crêpe for every craving.

Georgia Chocolate Factory

Where: Newnan

If you want to view paradise, simply look around at the Georgia Chocolate Factory. Their downtown Newnan shop is choc’ full of gourmet chocolates, pralines, toffees and truffles. But since this is
paradise, there has to be ice cream.

We recommend ordering a scoop (or two) in one of their homemade waffle cones; they come plain or dipped in chocolate with sprinkles or nuts! And what’s a chocolate factory without candy? Their incredible selection of individual and unique boxed candies is enough to put even Willy Wonka to shame.

Cakes by Debbie

Where: Newnan

Looking for a top-tier dessert? Cakes by Debbie has cookies, donuts, pies, pastries and, of course, custom cakes for any occasion. Many of Debbie’s recipes have been lovingly passed down from her family and friends, making for some truly show-stopping confections.

No, really. Debbie has created desserts for a number of movies and television shows, including Drop Dead Diva, and has competed in TLC’s Ultimate Cake Off – a competition baking show where contestants construct specialty cakes of at least five feet in size.

If a life-sized cake is a tall order, might we suggest starting off with the petit fours for a bite-sized delight?

Heirloom Bakeshop

Where: Newnan

If breakfast is the most important meal of the day, Heirloom Bakeshop certainly makes it the tastiest as well. Enjoy a dozen of their delicious donuts – any time of day!

In addition to the classics, their menu touts exciting and unique concoctions, including The Sweet Pig: a classic donut dipped in maple icing and topped with crispy bacon. But what are donuts without a freshly brewed cup
