Time to mark your calendar for the 7th Annual Newnan Burns Weekend! On Friday, Jan. 27 attend a Scotch Whiskey Tasting at the McRitchie-Hollis Museum at 7PM that includes live music. Savor a guided tasting through the regions of Scotland in the stately McRitchie-Hollis Museum. Also nibble savory Scottish fare.
On January 28th at 6pm, git yer’ kilt on and fling on down to the Historic Train Depot for the BURNS SUPPER. Grab a libation and take in the annual amazing fashion show hosted by Emily Westergreen of Underground Runway. Next up the piping of the haggis and the awe-inspiring Scottish processional. After a few toasts you’ll enjoy a full BURNS SUPPER that includes meat, sausage and cabbage, neeps and tatties, and more! Dessert and coffee too. Music provided by Arnotti-Stephens Entertainment and Kraken’s Release. Come early and stay late for the most fun you’ll have in Newnan. Wearing plaid recommended.
Tickets can be purchased via the links below or at the museum.
