David Boyd is a national award-winning representational painter whose recent work has been focusing on studio and plein air oil paintings of the urban and rural landscape.  In addition to his own work, he occasionally hosts other artists and friends in the space as well.

His studio and gallery are open Wednesday thru Friday 10am-2pm, the first Friday of every month 6pm-8pm and by appointment.

The bottom floor of the building serves as a reading room, and the second floor includes meeting and program spaces. Among the Carnegie’s many offerings are popular magazines and newspapers, computer workstations and Wi-Fi access, an honor book system, a gallery for local exhibits, meeting rooms with warming kitchen, and programs for adults and children.
