Main Street Newnan’s Monthly Market Day takes place the first Saturday of each month (March–December) from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. around the downtown courthouse square. Featuring 50+ booths, the market offers handmade, homemade, and homegrown goods from local artisans, farmers, and makers. Enjoy fresh produce, baked goods, pottery, art, leather goods, and more!

This 21-court pickleball facility is located nearly in the heart of downtown Newnan. Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of badminton, table tennis, and tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, much like a wiffle ball, with 26 to 40 round holes, over a net.

Newnan Theatre Company has been providing live entertainment in downtown Newnan for over 40 years.

This performing arts center is a modern, 48,000-square-foot structure nestled in a serene valley off Lower Fayetteville Road, near the city of Newnan. Affectionately referred to as the “pearl of the community,” it contains an elegant lobby, a diverse art gallery, lecture halls and star-quality dressing rooms, all anchored by a 1,000-seat, state-of-the-art theater. Construction was funded by a SPLOST grant, along with an investment by the Coweta County School System. The Centre is available for use by all the citizens of the surrounding communities, with special priority being given to school system events.

Established in 1833, Oak Hill Cemetery is a 60-acre property with over 12,000 gravesites. Located just a few blocks north of downtown Newnan, it is the final resting place for some of the county’s most prominent citizens, including two Georgia governors and several congressmen. In addition to serving as the burial ground for 270 Confederate soldiers (representing every state in the confederacy), Oak Hill is also the final resting place for soldiers from the Revolutionary War (James Akens and William Smith), as well as soldiers from World War I, World War II, Vietnam and Korea.
